Software/CD-ROM Reserves Service

The Instructional Technology Support Center provides a Software/CD-ROM Reserves service for MTSU faculty. Faculty may place departmentally purchased CD-ROM's or software on reserve in Instructional Media Resources for use by students on the LRC computers (see the Software Reserves form printed below). Software may be stored on CD-ROM's, floppies, or zip cartridges. Both Windows and Macintosh platforms are available. Some departmental software can also be loaded on center hard-drives. CD-ROM drives are available on all computers in the LRC, and Zip drives are available on most computers. Lab assistants will provide students with technical assistance in using reserved software, but cannot provide assistance with course content. For more information about placing software or CD-ROM's on reserve, call Sally Rivera at 5191. Instructional Media Resources helps departments purchase multimedia materials to supplement classroom instruction, including video-tapes and CD-ROM's. For information about this service, call Mrs. Gail Fedak at 2740.
